Islamabad is Getting a State-of-the-Art International Hospital

Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi laid the foundation stone for a cutting-edge 100-bed international hospital in Islamabad, a joint venture between the National Police Foundation (NPF) and a Turkish company. This project is expected to transform healthcare services for both policemen and the general public.The National Police Foundation (NPF) has provided the land for the hospital, while a private firm from Turkiye is investing Rs5 billion to fund the project.

Naqvi remarked that this initiative represents a significant advancement in healthcare facilities in the region and is a major milestone for the NPF, which has seen a resurgence under the leadership of Sabir Ahmed, MD of NPF.The Minister emphasized that the proceeds from this and other NPF projects are being directed towards the welfare of police officers and the families of martyrs.

He also mentioned that the NPF and the Capital Development Authority are planning to collaborate on additional joint projects, with discussions already in progress.Naqvi added that the NPF’s efforts are not limited to Islamabad, noting that a housing project has been completed in Hyderabad. He also highlighted the ongoing revitalization of the National Police Academy.
